Dear Bridgeview Montessori Families,
As art educators at this strange and amazing time, it is our sincere hope that you will find great joy and inspiration in the artwork created by your young artists. We have tried to produce a format that not only showcases each child’s work, but also demonstrates our respect and love for the creative process.

There are three segments in tonight’s video. In the beginning we highlighted our DOT project. In this artwork, each community member’s DOT, holds his or her place in our school building. This work will stay in place until we all return to our school in September. The middle segment shows a work of art created by each of our students. We included two pieces each by our Kindergarteners, EI third years and
EII sixth years as a way to honor their culminating year in a program. We ended with our documentation of the Fabulous Family Fish Project. We unveiled this installation today on our playground fence, and it is ready for you to view whenever you would like. This work, as a community project, will remain a permanent installation.

We will be in touch with you soon to let you know how and when to pick up your child’s art work. A huge thank you to all our art students, who surprise and inspire us every day. We can’t wait for our art room to be again filled with all of us making art together.

Our hearts are full,
Sandy and Vanessa

PS: The quality of the video is determined by a couple of factors: the speed of your internet and
the video player/screen size (higher quality videos generally play better on larger screens).
