The Application

Thank you for your decision to apply to Bridgeview Montessori School.

  • Complete and submit an Application for Admission and the Program Questionnaire (Children's House or Elementary) together with a $50 non-refundable application fee per family. You will receive a button to pay this fee upon submitting the Application for Admission or you may use the button below. If you already have a child at Bridgeview Montessori, no need to pay an application fee.

  • If applying for Elementary I or II, please print and sign this Student Records Request and send it to your child’s present school asking that a COPY of his/her records be sent to Bridgeview Montessori School for review.

  • If applying for Elementary I or II, please give the Student Evaluation from Current Teacher form to your child’s current teacher.

  • Visiting Our School:

    • We invite you to come into our school and explore our classrooms. This is really the very best way to learn about our school. Please contact Suzanne Lawson our Director of Admissions to schedule yours. slawson@bridgeviewmontessori.org

    • Children’s House families may choose to visit with their child during the school day or after school by appointment. In most cases, parents and the Director of Admissions discuss how to proceed with this visit so that children feel good and appropriately excited about their possible new school.

    • Prospective Kindergarten students are invited to visit during the school day with their parent. This visit allows for both family and school to explore that all important fit, and . This can also be scheduled by contacting our Director of Admissions, Suzanne Lawson at slawson@bridgeviewmontessori.org.

    • Prospective Elementary students are invited to spend one or two days in their prospective classroom. Please see these visits as opportunities to learn a bit about our school, teachers, classmates and culture. We ask our visitors to bring a piece of schoolwork that they have recently created, something they enjoyed doing, something that makes them proud. This visit must take place prior to acceptance. Admissions priority is given to returning students and siblings as well as to those applying to the five-day Children’s House Programs. In the event that openings do not exist at the time of initial application, parents may elect to place their child on a waiting list. Under certain circumstances, the school may elect to grant admission on a conditional basis, under guidelines to be agreed upon with the parent at the time of acceptance.

A complete Children’s House Application contains:

  1. Application

  2. Children’s House Questionnaire

  3. $50 Application Fee

  4. Conversation and Tour with Suzanne Lawson, Director of Admission

  5. Meeting with the student (optional for students younger than Kindergarten)

  6. Meeting with Kindergarten Student

A complete Elementary I or II Application contains:

  1. Application

  2. Elementary Questionnaire

  3. $50 Application Fee

  4. Copy of Records from current school (use Records Request form)

  5. Teacher Evaluation (use Student Evaluation)

  6. Conversation and Tour with Suzanne, Director of Admission

  7. A one or two day student visit.
